Teen Titans: The Complete Seasons 1-5 [10 Discs] [DVD]

What else is there to say? Alongside the Justice League animated series, Teen Titans is my favorite animated show. The show spends a lot of time dealing wht the characters, making them actual people, and I just love the entire cast: Robin is stoic and intelligent, a Batman in miniature. His only weakness is his obsession with Slade and his inability to let go and have a little fun. Raven pretty much defines the term "Goth Girl," but you still can't help falling in love with her just a little bit more every time she's on the screen. Cyborg and Beast Boy are the heart and soul of the Titans. Always cheerful and ready with the hijinks, I can't figure out which one makes me laugh harder... or which one would scare me more in a fight. And Starfire... her smile is like sunshine. Her voice like a breath of fresh air. For a girl that can bodyslam a fire truck, she is possibly the sweetest alien you'll ever meet. If you love superheros, and if you're not a stick in the mud, you will love this show.

My 6 year old loves this show. I've watched it with him many times and there's enough kid-like elements to keep him engaged and also real adult concepts and complexities that keep my attention as well. The writing for the show is excellent, and they do a great job with the individual characters, their pasts, and their current situations. I would put this up against any super hero movie or show as one of the better ones. One note, if you've seen the spin-off "Teen Titans Go!" and want to base your opinion on purchasing this series off that show, I recommend buying this even if not a fan of the spin-off. I would equate "Teen Titans Go" to mindless entertainment with no plot other than to be as silly and hyper as possible, but "Teen Titans" could easily have been a serious weekly crime / action / drama in prime time with real actors instead of animation. You won't be disappointed if you pick this up.

My son wanted this set so he could watch the entire series from beginning to end in order rather than trying to see all of it on TV. He has watched the entire thing through at least one time and hasn't had any complaints about the quality of the DVDs. I will caution that this is not sold as one complete set. Each season is individually packaged and they were shipped rubber-banded together. It isn't really a problem, I just don't want people to think it is packaged as a complete set.

This review was given by my son. I remember when I first saw this show, it was back when I was a kid. Back to when cartoons themselves were good. What I liked most the action and story. It also had funny moments. Now that its on dvd and available to own how could I pass it up? I urge anyone who watched this to get the complete set, that way you can watch and relive it.

When this show first came out I was like awesome! This show is funny and action packed. One must have to add to their DC collection. The reason I gave it a 4 was because they didn't have a complete set, instead they just had all 5 seasons tapped together.

I've been wanting to watch this series from beginning to end. But Cartoon network no longer shows this on their channel and best buy had the best price for the whole series.

Teen Titans is a great series, and having it all in one collection is perfect. This series has great depth, character development and a perfect use of brevity.

This show was one of my favorites from my childhood. It is the perfect blend of anime and comics.
