Q: Questiono you need this cable to chat withTurtle Beach Ear Force P12 Amplified Stereo Gaming HeadsetI brought the Turtle Beach Ear Force P12 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset but mic does not work do I need this cord?
Asked by shelly.
- A:Answer Not sure which cable, but assuming it's the mic cable (often red), it is necessary. Many mic headset combos need two wires.

Q: QuestionWill this also work for PC microphone?I have a pair of X32's I bought for my 360. Will the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter be sufficient to make the microphone work on PC? Turtle Beach has a "pc chat adapter" harness available on their website, but it seems extremely long, unwieldy, and I can't think of what the green cable would be used for. The transmitter only connects to the PC via USB (for power) and a 3.5mm audio in (out from the PC). The extra green part would just hang loose.

- A:Answer It may not work for a pc cable because its a multi-channel cable. The extra green cable from the pc calbe is used so that you can set your PC to have the default communication be your speaker port on your mother board while using hdmi/dvi/optical audio for your game/system sounds. It will give you more control options if you get the PC cable anyways. The cord is crazy long, but has a built in velcro wrap so it makes cable management easier. Ideally the pc cable will work better, but this cable might work also. Up to you if you would like to try it, but if it was me, I would just get the PC cord.

Q: QuestionWill this work with Xbox One chat?I have Turtle Beach XL1s for Xbox 360 and I am thinking to buy this and use it with the updated Xbox controller, will this work?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, you just need the headset adapter thing (thats like $25 or so), however they would not be able to be used as wireless anymore as you would need to insert the cord into the adapter for the xbox to actually read the headset. However I would recommend if you did want to have the wireless aspect, then get the stealth 500 x as it is meant for xbox and would be wireless
I would recommend:
