A:Answer It may not work for a pc cable because its a multi-channel cable. The extra green cable from the pc calbe is used so that you can set your PC to have the default communication be your speaker port on your mother board while using hdmi/dvi/optical audio for your game/system sounds. It will give you more control options if you get the PC cable anyways. The cord is crazy long, but has a built in velcro wrap so it makes cable management easier. Ideally the pc cable will work better, but this cable might work also. Up to you if you would like to try it, but if it was me, I would just get the PC cord.
