We replaced our Samsung after the top broke in just 6 months. The Frigidaire seems way better built. I really like the burner knobs being in the front. The fit and finish overall is awesome. The oven works incredibly well and I cannot be happier overall with the quality. We've had it now for a couple of months. Wish I had bought this in the first place!

I wanted to love this range but the salesman made an error. I required that at least one burner be able to accommodate various sized pots. Although the right front burner looks like it can, the photos are deceiving. This is ONLY a large burner for larger pots and the circles are more decorative. If you place a small pot on the burner, it does not accommodate based on the size of the pot. Also, I doubt I would ever use the griddle option since the reviews of what type of griddle are so inconsistent, I fear scratching the glass. I love how quiet this range is even in convection mode. I also wish it came with three oven racks (like my previous Frigidaire range) so that the baking of cookies or roasting vegetables on three racks using convection could be done. Also, for some reason the oven door does not seem to close properly. It sticks out a bit at the top more than at the bottom. The installer took photos of this but never got back to me.

Black stainless steel: Sigh. I truly wanted to love this range oven. It looks beautiful and modern in my kitchen and the oven features work well, although I was disappointed to find that the air fryer modes are pre-set and that it's not possible to select alternate air fryer settings. But the deal killer was the difficulty in keeping the glass range top clean. I am a neat cook and wash my cookware and utensils as I cook and wipe off my counters and stove top throughout my food prep. As recommended, I cleaned and polished the glass cooktop with a glass cooktop cleaner prior to first using the stove. Within 20 minutes of cooking the glass was covered with smears, smudges, and fingerprints despite wiping it frequently with a clean micro towel with a half-teaspoon of the glass stovetop cleaner on it, as I cooked. (See photos.) But, worse and frankly scary was how hot the glass cooktop and the black steel edge trim got! I had a stock pot pan on the right front burner that I had reduced from high to the No.6 setting. None of the other 4 burners had been in use. I had set a half cup of cream on the front left burner ready to pour into stock pot. When I reached for the measuring cup, my fingertips accidentally touched the glass top. The cup was a good 18 inches from the only active burner, but the glass top here had become so hot it burned my finger tips! Also, I discovered it was difficult to tell what size pans to use with each burner and that the highest wattage burner only went up to 3200 watts which doesn't work as well when stir frying with flat bottomed woks or skillets. Within 48 hours I returned to Best Buy and arranged to replace it with a black stainless steel GE Slide-in range, with all the same features except for steam baking. This range's burners are CLEARLY marked for pots from 5" to 11" in diameter and its hottest burner goes up to 3600 watts. As for the steam baking feature that is easily duplicated by putting a pan with hot water in it on the lowest oven rack before baking. However, I have to give a shout out to Best Buy and Geek Squad for their great service. The purchase, the initial install, the replacement process, and the install of the 2nd range went seamlessly!
