Fantastic 32" LCD HDTV for the Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wife and I just wanted a nice and simple, yet quality tv for the bedroom. We weren't looking for anything extravagant, like what you might have in your family room, with all your entertainment stuff, but we also love watching movies or tv series before bed and wanted a decent sized, quality picture HDTV. We got that and more! And the price was more than fair for what we got! Getting a 32" LCD HDTV, 720p, 60Hz that has numerous settings to make the picture exactly how you want it. I always thought LCD tv's were a little bright for my taste and didn't showcase the real colors of a show or movie, but I was able to go through at least 6 different categories and settings to make the picture look natural and how we like it. I was very surprised and now we simply enjoy using it. 2 HDMI slots as well! Insignia has always been a great manufacturer as well. Couldn't have been happier with our purchase! Can't go wrong with this one if you are like us and not looking for that 55" tv for the family room, but something just right for you and the Mrs!

Absolutely love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A friend of mine told me a wonderful secret, as I'm not incredibly keen on TV specs: If you plan on getting a tv which is 32" or less, spending money for 1080 is schtupid. Yes, schtupid. Now a 60" 1080 TV can actually use all 1080 pixels, and the difference btw 720 & 1080 is remarkable, but at 32" and less, it's really a waste of money, all factors included. That said, this tv is brilliant, perfect for the everyman. It's lightweight, simple to set up, wonderful connectivity options, and even writes songs for you in the key of C flat (I know, I know, just stop) - (and get this tv if 32" is your size, and ~ $250 is your budget).

My 2nd 32" Insignia TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Purchase was the 2nd 32" Insignia Flat Screen I bought last year. I purchased one for the Master Bedroom. Already have a 55" Samsung 1080 resolution in Living Room (from Best Buy). Liked the quality, picture (for 720 resolution), the sound, etc., and even the colors are pretty true to "real" color, that I purchased this second 32" Insignia for the Spare Bedroom. It's all good. And I feel that Insignia has better picture quality than some of the other better known brands.

Great for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Insignia TV during a sale event before Christmas as a present and was very happy with the purchase. The TV has been used to receive local stations with an antenna, to connect a Roku with internet channels, and as a monitor for PS3 games. Once we fumbled through the setup menu and managed to connect the cable into an inconvenient location, we have been very happy with reception and picture quality. Of course, better quality could be had but not for this price.

Great Picture. Using it as a PC monitor & TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remote has to be right in front of tv, and buttons are not very responsive. Picture has great color, but has to be toned down from too much back light. I wish you could adjust color, etc. when in VGA mode, but have to use Nvidia on computer to do this, since these adjustments are grayed out in the menu. These are minor annoyances, since once you set it, you normally don't have to make any more adjustments.

Good value for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third Insignia TV purchased for our house. We have 2 -32 in and 1 -19 in. These are used in the bedroom and the kitchen. The volume on the TV does not go as loud as some other brands but it is adequate for our use. We do not have any additional audio hookups to the TV. We have had no issues with the TVs and find them a great value. Plan to purchase another one for the RV in the spring.

Happy with my 1st flatscreen HD TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was helped by a Best Buy employee to pick out this TV because it was very important to me to be able to have the correct inputs to maintain the current setup of my components. It looks fantastic, the picture quality is amazing, the sound quality doesn't compare to my old analog set, but I was able to connect my old surround sound system to overcome that.

Q: QuestionRun auto channel scan every time I turn on the TVI have ran the auto channel scan through the settings menu several times. I have also reset the TV to factory settings and unplugged it for 10 seconds. Every time I turn on the TV I have to run the auto channel scan to pick up the 1 channel that my direct tv box uses. it is connected through coax.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer If your TV is repeatedly asking for a channel scan even after you have successfully completed one, there can be many reasons why. For instance, if you have your cable/satellite box connected to the TV via HDMI, component, or composite, you do not need to run a channel scan as the TV's internal tuner will not be used. In this situation, you simply need to change the TV's input to match your choice of connection. In some cases, the TV will power on tuned to a channel that has no signal. So you will see this message, and in this case, you can simply press CHANNEL UP or CHANNEL DOWN, which will tune to the first available channel.

Q: QuestionWhy dont I get audio and color when using DVDI am using an AV Cable for the hook up. Have check repeatedly to make sure this is connected properly. Is there some settings that need to be made? Info that would address this problem would be appreciated. Thanks! TSC
Asked by TSC.
- A:Answer The most common reason for this issue is that the cables are incorrectly connected. The red/white cables should be connected to the ports labeled L/R on the back of the TV. The yellow cable should be connected to the green port labeled Y/VIDEO. If the problem persists, I recommend replacing the cable. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between LCD and LED TV's?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer LED TVs are LCD TVs. LED describes the type of lighting used to illuminate the screen. A standard LCD uses fluorescent lighting and LED uses, well, LEDs for lighting. LED allows for thinner, more power-efficient TVs. I hope this helps.
