Q: Need the BEST cooling pad for an HP 17inch
A: Don't buy the more expensive Targus cooling pad with 4 port USB Hub. I did and it worked 'okay' then quit after 2 weeks. The fans would suddenly shut down and emit a very loud noise. Finally stopped altogether. huge waste of money. I replaced it with the Targus 17 inch cooling pad, no USB ports, less expensive but so far its working and its QUIET. I would have preferred another brand but this was all I could find in a hurry.
A: Mine doesn't move enough air to make a tissue flutter when laid on top of the fans. As far as I'm concerned - it doesn't work. I returned the first one - the replacement doesn't work any better.
