Very easy to use, just plug into a USB A port and it's good to go. Also lightweight and not too heavy and bulky. I needed a cooling pad when the CPU fan in my laptop went kaput and I was waiting for the replacement fan to arrive but still needed to use the laptop for work purposes. This one was the only one available for immediate pick up and I figured I'd return it once the fan arrived because how good could only a 2-fan cooling pad possibly be? Turns out, pretty darn good. It kept my laptop from overheating and runs relatively quietly, with just a low humming noise that I find rather pleasant. It sometimes makes an odd mechanical noise, almost a grating noise, but it is usually short lived. Besides the random noise every so often, I've had no problems with it and will be keeping it.

I must have bought several of these throughout the years… the best laptop mat you can find. Works great on the desk or on your lap in bed.

This chill mat does the job. I love how the USB connector is positioned to be used on either the left or right side of the laptop, considering my laptop's one USB port is on the opposite side from my previous one. The little clips inside the frame keep the cord in place when not in use, and the connector isn't a separate piece that unplugs, so I can't lose it. The fan is incredibly quiet. So quiet in fact, that I've accidentally left the fan plugged in overnight when my laptop doesn't even need it!

Great at keeping my computer cool, as well as my spouse’s very old one! We play sims which usually wears computers out, but this mat makes a huge difference and keeps our laptops cool. It’s also very portable and has a nice angle!

I was looking for a tilted mat/base that could keep my 17-inch laptop off my desk and allow it to run cooler. Best Buy had the Targus chill map on sale. It is exactly what I needed. It is raised so the back is approx. 2 1/2 inches higher than the front. It also has two quiet running fans which are powered by a UBS connection at the lap top computer. Very satisfied.

Comfortable cooling pad the right size lite and use every where.

I have an older laptop that notoroiusly runs hot. Especially in the warmer weather, that internal fan runs high constantly and the laptop will lag. I have not had the issue since getting this chill mat. The fan is is relatively quiet. I can only hear it, if there is no other noise in the room, like when the TV is off. In any event, the mat does exactly what I need it to do. I have not heard the laptop fan kick into its high whine, since using this.

It's pretty quiet. I'm sensitive to sound but this is a quiet, steady hum. No problem there. The power cord is USB and I have a MacBook pro so I use a little adapter that I already had to connect to my USB-C. It does help keep my MB cool enough to run zoom calls all day.

Nothing fancy or over the top. Works as intended with no problems and keeps my laptop cool. Its not overly loud either
