This PC looks great, performs great, is super quiet because of the liquid cooling. One warning to buyers. This PC is big and super heavy. Like 30 or 35 pounds heavy. Which even though I dont carry it around places is the absolute heaviest a desktop could be and still be okay. I did upgrade to 32GB of DDR5 memory from corsair and added a samsung 2 terabtye 2.5 inch ssd for storing games. Had no issues with that. Far Cry 6 and Statfield run great at 1440p at 144HZ.

I desired, but those are the only downsides I would have to say. I was looking for an upgrade compared to what I had cheaped out on with my previous gaming pc. I got lucky and found this one on an open box deal in the range I was willing to spend! This thing has been pleasantly aesthetic and a huge performance upgrade for me! This thing is incredibly well built! Plays anything I have tried to throw at it so far with no issues and goes above and beyond my expectations. Not terribly loud, obviously if you’re taxing it it will be noticeable, but does a great job. Not much of an overclocker, so can’t speak much for that. Normal performance setting have been good enough for me. All in all, I’m definitely a fan of Alienware after owning this pc.

Solid gaming computer, wish it had better RAM

My old computer broke and I needed to get something new same day, this was the best available for pickup in store. For the price, it should have more RAM. It comes equipped with 2x 8gb ram sticks but only 4800 speed DDR5 - super low budget RAM. For the $2200 price, BestBuy should really not be cheap, and they should have provided 32gb of DDR5 RAM with 6000 speed. Computer runs great so far but definitely lacking in RAM capacity and speed, hence ny 4/5 star review.

Its packaging was high quality and packed nicely. The towers overall design is spectacular, more so when you turn it on and see it in all its glory. WI will be setting up my Xbox pass today, I am excited to see its graphics card hard at work. The computer and our new gaming monitor went on sale today, BestBuy refunded us the difference without a hassle.

Q: QuestionIs this easily upgradable? I like the thermals on this machine and its within my budget. However, I need 64 GB of RAM because I use my computer for AI applications. How difficult would it be to upgrade the ram on this machine once I buy it?

- A:Answer It has to be Kingston Ram. And you may have to have it still match the basic MHZ rating as the stock ram. I misunderstood that in the owners manual the first time thinking that I could put 5600MHz in there because it was referenced as an acceptable configuration. I got a pair of corsair vengeance 32gb and after replacing couldn’t get it to boot up and got the error light. Read online and found other recommendations about Kingston, it also has in fine print in the owners manual “only certified kingston ram supported”. Gave it one more shot with a pair of 32gb Kingston Fury rated at 4800MHz just as the stock ram. I’ve seen that the Fury ram has caused issues with people too. Booted up just fine for me and gave the message acknowledging that the ram had changed, let me access the bios and boot the computer as usual. Has worked fine so far. As far as access to changing the ram, it is wonderful! They built a latch that just allows you to pop the side panel out, access the whole interior, then the side panel just pops back into place. Makes it very easy!
