Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a fantastic shooter and looter game. It’s not perfect. But it’s fun. Definitely worth playing.

In all honestY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In all honesty, I was excited about the game. I didnt track it to heavily but I heard the whispers and saw some clips. I got my playstation and the game a little late so I wasn't one of the first players in it, I've actually only started playing recently, but I do enjoy the game. I feel that its kick off had some hiccups because people expected a little more from the graphics and directionality of the game, but I think the graphics are fine. I'm not going to nitpick if the gameplay is fun, which it is. I've heard people talk better about The Division 2, but I can honestly say I had a better experience in Anthem. I ran into glitches and DCs in both games but I enjoyed my semi-ironman experience more than the usual soldier or special ops experience that call of duty and battlefield keep putting different twists on already. I think as long as anthem keeps adding new content, maybe add a pvp element... I mean there are tons of ideas. A major complaint is about the games direction, but I think because it has no clear direction it doesn't lock it onto a set path. The possibilities for this game are nice. I'm sure fans have given them great ideas to add and I would love to see them come to fruition. Dispite a very hard to please crowd.

Better Than Reviews Say, But Worse Than Hoped For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not going to tell you that Anthem is the greatest game of all time. I will, however, say that IT IS FUN. Just the act of traversing the world and flying in a suit like Iron Man is a blast. The story is not up to the level that we have come to expect from the BioWare name, but it grabs you as much, if not more, than most comparable games on the market. The game is certainly grindy (it's an MMO-lite, looter shooter... the grind comes with the territory), but most of that grind is enjoyable, to me anyway. I don't think the game should be ignored outright, I think it deserves a fair shake. Playing with a group is a blast too, with you and your team setting up and detonating combos that fill the screen with particle effects that make the attacks FEEL impactful. After BioWare gets a chance to add to the game, I feel like it has the potential to raise to true greatness. With this as the foundation, they deserve the chance to do so.

Hopeful For The Future
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has reviewed terribly. Now that it’s been said, the game is fantastic when it works. The flying, the combat speed and slew of available abilities make this game a true joy to romp through. Yes, the loading can be rough, yes, the bugs and crashes is an issue, yes, end game is left wanting for more content and drops/rates. However, this is a foundation for something truly great assuming it gets the support it should. If anyone has played the game the 60+ hours they have claimed and then turn around and call the game “terrible”, there is a massive disconnect... the story lasts maybe 10-15 hours, the remainder of the side quests and again, end game is up to the player. This game is absolutely worth a look. Those wanting a 1000+ hour experience may want to wait however. For what you pay, this game more than delivers.

Pretty decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a little late to the party. Have played probably 20 hours. I like it. I'm trying to figure out how to describe it accurately. It has some problems (the loading screens are no joke). The devs are being pretty transparent and keeping people who play in the loop on things that are being fixed and the devs have a pretty quick turn around on the things they say they are working on fixing (less than a week). So while it is in need of polish and variety, the core seems to be in good shape. Story wise, it's a really long prologue into a large BioWare story. Hopefully, they keep up the work and manage to keep things afloat long enough to tell the story. Currently, after the main story has been completed, there is your normal "do activities to get better loot" things to do, but not much beyond that. All DLC is free and seems to be being released monthly or almost monthly. If you like mechs and BioWare you will probably like this, but just go into it knowing you will need to be in it for the long haul.

Flawed Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great. It's made even better if you play with friends. You truly feel like Ironman flying around and shooting bad guys in the face. It's not without its flaws though. I still get the occasional crash, which has only impacted my progression once. The loot system just received a needed update. And the dev team at Bioware are very committed to making this game a wonderful experience for all players. The negativity was completely over blown for this game, I saw too many reviewers that only played the 10 hour trail period for EA's Origin premier subscription and say the game was horrible. Raging for all comers to pass it. They didn't give it a fair go. People that are complaining about a lack of content is damning, but then in the same sentence are saying they've played for 60+ hours. If you get 60+ hours from a 60 dollar game, I'd say you got your monies worth, and more content will be released soon and it is all free once you own the game. Haters gonna hate though.

Better than what most people are saying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product itself is everything that the description says, so there are no problems there. In terms of the gameplay itself, this game delivers in some areas and lazy in others. The problems in this game primarily lie in the lack of originality and actual action in missions. No matter what mission you take on, everything you do within the mission is the same i.e fight monsters, hold square to save people/ disable bomb/etc. It's repetitiveness really holds the game back. The story itself is interesting, the problem here is that the game throws you into the middle of the world and for some reason expects you to know all the terminology. You'll have no idea what is actually going on in the world which is disappointing considering that the actual world is really cool. But aside from those two problems, the game is lots of fun, it just needs dlc's/updates to expand the world and keep the game fresh.

You feel like Iron Man.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please note I wanted to rate this at a 4 to 5 but the cut content and bugs forced me to reconsider. Plot: You are a freelancer who pilots an armored suit in the wilderness to protect traders, eradicate threats, unlock the past, and just fly around killing electric wielding rabbits because you can. Pros: The individual suits are nicely detailed and can be painted or customized on way or another. The scenery is very beautiful but the underwater needs some touch-ups. Some great CGI cut scenes. Cons: Many, many, many load screens and times. Going from the main town to equip a weapon, back to town, to mission selection, to mission launch (5 loads minimally). After the mission, you load into the XP gather screen and then more loads to the town or weapon screens. Bugged townsfolk, several times I will walk through the gates and the townsfolk will move like the old windows pop-up lock error, watching a person get stretched 30 feet is quite annoying. You will also face loading if a teammate progresses in the mission by walking away from you while you mine or searching a key/unique item such as location lore information, essentially you have to pick it up if you see something flashing then wait till after the mission and several load screens later to see what you found. Conclusion: The game has issues, I left many out but it also has can be saved. As a looter-shooter I think it fails, as a linear sci-fi story I think it can pass. I still recommend it because it is an experience that is lovely but frustrating.

Q: QuestionHow long before I get digital code for my early releases
Asked by Robin.
- A:Answer A late reply, but this question was answered on a FAQ page stating that you would have to pre order through your platform's specified store (Such as the PSN or Microsoft Store) to recieve early access to the demo. Though the open demo is on Feb. 1-3 if you would like to download it and try it as its free even if you didnt pre order the game. You can look up the discord server or follow the game on Twitter and get most of the info there. Hope this helped :)
