Good sensitivity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mic has a good range of hertz settings to record in both 24 bit and 16 bit. My particular computer doesn't have a hertz setting to be an exact multiple of CD hertz but higher for this mic. It has only 96kHz and 192kHz as close versions for that. The mic seems to be very sensitive in 24 bit. I haven't tried 16 bit very much. In 24 bit it got the noise and vibration from the fan in my laptop when it was on the same surface as the mic... when I lifted the mic of the table and listened, the sound recording improved. Might be good to have one of those shock mount holders for better recording clarity to not pick up vibrations through the mic stand so much. I haven't done a lot of recording with this particular mic, but it seemed to record more balanced sound than a different mic I had when looking at the soundwaves. I don't know if that was my own user error on the other mic or not. I'm learning the Audacity program. This mic seems to be pretty good and I like it.

Whatever Role
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mic not only looks the part, but sounds great for any occasion. Whether it's podcasting or simply chatting on Skype. The XLR output makes it adaptable for any professional recording session, and the recording pattern can be changed to specifically meet needs. Its well built, at the cost of being a little heavy. The only objection I have to this model is that gain adjusted by a knob, but the knob doesn't have indicators or click-stops to give you a sense of where your input levels are. Also I often get confused about which way to turn the knob to increase or decrease gain. Its a small thing, and not a problem if you do a sound check before recording.

Great to pick up voice/drum only and no background
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Yeti Blue when the pandemic started and needed to migrate my health and wellness drum circles to Zoom. That was not an easy task. This mic picked up my voice and drum and works wonderfully! Back to in person now except when I get a drum gig across the US and will keep on using it now.

Fits my home studio needs.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I am very happy with the sound quality for the price of the product. It looks nice, and seems well-constructed. I use it to record vocals for home demos. I run it usually in mono through a simple M-Audio hub using the XLR cord. It works for me, and the sound is very warm and detailed. The downsides are that it's difficult to trasport, due to its size and weight. Also, I took it off its stand and mounted it on a freestanding mic stand at a friend's studio. That was easy enough, but keeping track of all the litttle washers, and putting it back together later was frustrating. Note that the mic must be hooked up through the USB for power.

Great Product, fair instructions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After I figured out how to set this product up and work it was great, but it took a little bit more then just reading the instructions to figure out how everything worked out the way it worked.

Sound and Versatility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is premium. It has a separate aux out that you can run into the line in on your machine so you can simultaneously hear yourself while you record in your headphones. I would highly recommend for the sound quality. It is pricier than some of the other models, but has a premium design.

A really good choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My friends and I wanted to to gaming videos and we needed a microphone. After a ton of searching I decided to get this mic. and hope that it would do the job. It is a great microphone and has, in my opinion, the best sound quality. I used it for 4 videos now and it was worth every penny. I know it's a lot of money but if you could afford it it'll be worth it.

Great sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though it weighs as much as a two ton tunic that’s actually prevented me from knocking it over a few times. The sound quality is great and worked with all of my computers.

Asked by Josh.
- A:Answer Actually it is both USB and XLR, however it must be connected via USB for power. XLR connection will override USB. Hope this helps. Peace and blessings, Azeke

Q: QuestionBetween the Yeti Pro and the Yeti X which would be better for recording talking at a distance like up to 3 or 4 ft away? I'm using it for online auditions on Zoom etc. or would you recommend something else for that?
Asked by Buddy.
- A:Answer Both the Pro and the X will get you exactly what you need, and both will do it very well. For what you're doing I would highly recommend getting the Yeti X and invest the difference of cost into a good pop-filter for it. Best Buy sells some great Samson brand pop-filters that will attach to our microphones.

Q: QuestionIs the Yeti Pro a good choice for voiceover work?
Asked by Disneyy.
- A:Answer Hello, the Yeti Pro will be a great choice for voiceovers! This is the only USB microphone to feature a dual XLR cable breakout so you can connect to mixers, preamps and other professional studio equipment. It also has 4 pick up patterns to suit all your needs. -Danielle from Logitech

Q: QuestionHow does the Yeti Pro compare to the Yeti X ? pros and cons trying to decide
Asked by Buddy.
- A:Answer Depends on what you're doing with it, and how professional you want to go. The Yeti X is a seriously top notch streamer and online content creation mic. You can also customize the audio and color settings our free Logitech G-Hub software. Yeti Pro on the other hand is what I would use if you're going to be doing music recording. Yeti Pro has the XLR output, so you're going to get seriously professional sound and be able to get a better connection if you're connecting to professional equipment. Yeti X if you're streaming or creating online content, like podcasts. Yeti Pro if you're taking it into a studio to record music.
