Q: what's the maximum distance from hood bottom to cook top?
A: Hi there. Thank you for your question. Per the installation instructions for model DPH36652UC800 Series 36" Externally Ducted Range Hood the height from countertop to the bottom of the hood should be 24" to 30". It is not recommended that this hood be used over indoor grills.
Q: Does this hood come in 30" width to fit over 800 Series range?
A: Hi and thank you for your interest in the DPH36652UC. The DPH36652UC is a 36" unit and is not available in 30".
Q: What is te CFM's for this vent and do you need make up air?
A: Hi VENT, thanks for your question and interest in model DPH36652UC. A 600 CFM centrifugal integrated blower is included with this model. Proper performance is dependent upon proper ducting. Use a qualified and trained installer. Local building codes may require the use of makeup air systems when using ducted ventilation systems greater than specified CFM of air movement. The specified CFM varies from locale to locale. Consult your HVAC professional for specific requirements in your area.
