Q: Can this product voice controlled via Google Assistant and or Alexa?
A: I don't believe so. The it only has bluetooth connection to selected Samsung stovetop which allows the stove to turn on the vent when the stove is being used. Hope this helps.
Q: Can I still add a charcoal filter with ducted installation? If yes, which one.?
A: Great question! According to page 5 of the installation manual (https://bit.ly/32FGfrv) the charcoal filter is only needed when using a non-vented installation. This is due to the way the fumes and vapors are vented with this type of installation. ^Jecca

A: Yes through the rear or through the top
A: Hi Marc! Our specifications (https://bit.ly/2nGMUh6) show the CFM as 390-600. This is variable due to the multiple fan speeds available. ^Jecca
A: There is a removable panel on the rear side and also the top. Remove the one that fits your existing vent hole location or leave them installed and the air will recirculate. There are attachments that come with the hood that are meant to connect between the vent hood and lower cabinet surface or wall depending on your existing vent hole location. As for wiring, I cant help. Best Buy sent out a contractor to install the wiring. They had trouble with it having only a very short wire to connect to but they may have installed the short wire themselves. .... ultimately I had to rework the wiring myself and still need to address other issues from their installation. Q: When set up for recirculation, with the kit, where does the air exhaust?

When you set up this range hood for recirculation using the recirculation kit (NK-AF030FNB) together with the Charcoal filter kit (NK-AR050FNB), the air is not vented outside. Instead, it is filtered and released back into the kitchen. Here's how it works: 1. Air Intake: Cooking fumes and smoke are drawn up into the hood. 2. Grease Filter: The air passes through metal grease filters to trap grease and large particles. 3. Charcoal Filters: The air then passes through charcoal filters (part of the recirculation kit) that absorb odors and some impurities. 4. New hood in the burbs
The hood does well with removing smells such as fried food and broiled meats. It vacuums up the smoke instead of fanning it into the room. The light from the hood is nice and bright. The contractors who installed the hood, they wore mask while in my house and were reals pros. I didn’t straighten out the towel in the photo. But it gives you an idea what it looks like in a typical home.
