A: This is designed to be vented without outside access. I have not installed completely yet but it is made for a circular venting process through a filter.
Q: Can this product voice controlled via Google Assistant and or Alexa?
A: I don't believe so. The it only has bluetooth connection to selected Samsung stovetop which allows the stove to turn on the vent when the stove is being used. Hope this helps.

Q: Can I still add a charcoal filter with ducted installation? If yes, which one.?
A: Great question! According to page 5 of the installation manual (https://bit.ly/32FGfrv) the charcoal filter is only needed when using a non-vented installation. This is due to the way the fumes and vapors are vented with this type of installation. ^Jecca

A: Hello Ashley, Remember you have to vent it outside. So vent it straight back if you want to put an appliance above it. But I’m sure a microwave would be too high for comfortable use if it’s above a range hood. Joe
A: There is a removable panel on the rear side and also the top. Remove the one that fits your existing vent hole location or leave them installed and the air will recirculate. There are attachments that come with the hood that are meant to connect between the vent hood and lower cabinet surface or wall depending on your existing vent hole location. As for wiring, I cant help. Best Buy sent out a contractor to install the wiring. They had trouble with it having only a very short wire to connect to but they may have installed the short wire themselves. .... ultimately I had to rework the wiring myself and still need to address other issues from their installation. Everything I needed and more
This range hood throws mad air, if yours doesn't it's installed wrong. Did it myself and I saw a few things that would cause someone who doesn't know to neglect making the necessary adjustments to accommodate this. Additionally if you read the booklet it shows the steps to activate boost so read it. My only complaint is Samsung should test these before shipping because the light was wired wrong and didn't work so I was easily able to figure it out. Saved me a service call. People say it's noisy but if you're gonna move that much air it comes with some noise but it isn't deafening like my previous one. The rear vent didn't line up with the existing hole through the back so it was easier for me to vent it from the top through the cabinet. It's very very pricey but we'll worth it, wish I had bought it the first time I saw it because I would've saved about $300. Yes $300.

Great product
Nice looking, powerful vent and bright LED lights. Installer from Best Buy did a great job replacing my old Microwave with this range hood.

Nice range hood powerful
Great addition to the samsung duo stove. It has three speeds plus a boost option for a more powerful exhaust. Its loud and you will know the fans running. It has metal washable exhaust filters. Bluetooth connectivity to stove via Samsung's smart-things app. Pricey but gets that smoke and smell out.
