A: It has 2 additional bays for hard drives. You could go with any SATA 3 SSD or opt for M.2 SSD which was designed for ultrabooks but made it's way to desktops. It does have connection for M.2 SSD's I opened the case and looked.
Q: What power supply does this have? I'm wanting to add a video card for better gaming.
A: It has a 460 watt PSU. Most high end graphics cards list 500 watts as a minimum spec. The PSU in this machine is a standard size. I was able to replace mine with a nice 850 watt unit that Best Buy sells. Four screws and a few power cables later I was ready for the GeForce 1080.
Q: Can I switch out the Graphics card?
A: Yes. There's room for a full sized, dual slot video card. I put in an Nvidia GeForce 1080GT. Just be sure to upgrade your power supply at the same time if you add high end graphics. The machine comes with a 460 watt PSU but most of the higher rated power supplies will fit in the case. You may have to do a little cutting and wire splicing to power up the DVD drive (I did). And make sure the SATA cables under the back end of your full length video card are using 90 degree connectors.
Q: How many SATA ports are open on the motherboard for expansion
A: 4 in total. When you buy it one is occupied by the 1Tb hard drive, and a second by the optical drive. This leaves 2 remaining unoccupied sata ports.
Q: is this computer dual monitor compatible
A: Yes. In fact you can plug in three monitors with this particular NVidia card. It has two DVI and one mini-HDMI.
Q: Can I use the Oculus VR with this model? Is this VR Ready?
A: No, the vide card in this computer cannot support Oculus VR.
A: Best Buy has a Price guarantee for at least 15 days post purchase. You should be able to take your receipt to customer service at your local store and they'll give you a refund on your card or cash if you paid in cash. You will need to do this while the product is on sale. I was a bit luckier, after I bought my machine they had a $100 off sale and they matched that for me. If you bought the machine on-line I'm sure there's a similar process but I'm not familiar with it.
Q: Does this support 5G wifi or only 2.4?
A: Works with both.
