They updated everything except the map. I bought a new Garmin because the older one was bought in 2017 and it does not include the correct highway directions from where I live. I did the updates on the old device, but it did not update the directions for that stretch of road. In the old device, when I needed to head north on the highway, it would direct me to turn right to the south interstate and then have me cross three lanes to get to the north interstate. IT'S DANGEROUS. I used a different navigation system to go a place where I needed to drive north and it has me turn left, directly to interstate north and I round a corner and I'm on the road headed North and two of the three lanes to the left of me are headed south. Because I noticed the difference, I do not like the navigation system that I used for these directions, and I like Garmin, I felt it was time for me to buy an updated Garmin. The interface is updated. It has a sleek new look and the way you hit the buttons has been updated (on the old device, I could use my fingernails - on the new one, it must be the actual finger touching the screen. all of this does me no good when the directions I'm getting are a liability. Note: I immediately searched for updates before I used the new system. On the attached map, the pink line shows the path I should drive. However, it does not show that after I make that right turn, the lane furthest to the right, goes down to 270S and then I actually have to cross over to 270N while cars that are already on 270S (three left lanes) are heading south. There is not enough distance for someone entering the highway to drive across the 270S lanes to 270N safely. I would return it, but, unfortunately, I discovered this map issue a couple of days ago; which is a couple of days beyond the return window.

It’s so easy to use, simple to add addresses. It Works really quickly and It does not have any glitches. And I guess for me the best part is when you look something up, it gives you so many different options. It’s kind of like your phone, what I mean is when you’re searching for something all kinds of different options just pop up. Definitely five stars, definitely worth the money. I totally recommend it..

Excellent product. I had to do two updates and spent half an hour tinkering with it to display as in the photo. This is not my first Garmin product. The unit is made in China.
