A: I think I finally fixed the touchpad/keyboard input lag when on battery. I actually found two solutions that you can try. First of all, the cause was a Nvidia driver issue and it had something to do with the unwanted "GPU 1 Copy" process in Task Manager. Solution #1 was to simply update the Nvidia driver to the latest version by going to their website. I thought I had the latest driver version but I guess I didn't. DON'T RELY ON THE CONTROL CENTER OR GIGABYTE'S WEBSITE FOR THE LATEST DRIVERS BECAUSE SOME OF THEM ARE OUTDATED. Solution #2 is a bit mind-boggling. All you do is run the Dragon app which is one of the preinstalled apps and for some odd reason it seems to stop the lag.
