I recently purchased a 144hz 1440p monitor which requires a large amount of bandwidth when running 3D apps at that refresh rate and resolution. I noticed a little bit of screen flickering using the cable supplied with the monitor so I decided to try this cable when I stopped at my local Best Buy (It was the only DP cable they had IIRC). Figured it had to be better than the supplied generic cable despite seeing no indication of DP 1.2 certification on the packaging. Turned out this cable actually produced more flickering than the cable that came with the monitor. Moral of the story is if you need a high performing DP cable, hop online to a reputable vendor and find one with genuine DP 1.2 certification and avoid this product.

I really find that this cord really does the trick. It's not extremely high quality but it lets me run my computer on 144hz unlike hdmi which maxes out at 120hz. I wish that they had shorter cords available because I don't like that much cord showing and the shorter the cord, the less latency, but the length will have to do. Overall, if you're looking for a quick DisplayPort purchase, this is it. I also wish that it would state if it was DisplayPort 1.4 or 1.3. I really wanted to know without searching the gbps on the internet to only somewhat confirm which version it is.

Overpriced for the quality involved. I'm pretty certain that even though this is advertised as a '4K DisplayPort' cable, it really isn't. If you want a DisplayPort cable to support really good 4K, you need one that's at least 1.3 or higher. There's no way this cable is anywhere near that quality. It's not labeled, nor is the quality involved in the material enough to suggest otherwise. Works well enough to run 1080p monitors at 144Hz though.

This is the second DisplayPort cable that I purchased, the first one was by CablesMatter from Amazon which died less than week of use. When I found out the problem was the cable I was told by customer service over the phone that the DisplayPort cables on Amazon were not up to stranded and that I should go to Best Buy to get one. If you have a gaming pc and want to use DisplayPort avoid the ones from Amazon and get this cable.

Bought the cord and originally gave it a 5 star rating. But found out mines defective. Looked online and in general they have defective cords sometimes. Not the end of the world since I traded it for a working one. Still annoying none the less. Good news is DisplayPorts blow away HDMI. Wish I would have known about them before. They do everything HDMI does, but even better in terms of gaming.

I built my first computer and bought an AOC 27" 1MS 144 hz refresh rate monitor. When I attached the video card to the monitor I looked at the display settings, I could only get 60 hertz refresh rate on the monitor. I talked to a computer guru buddy and he said use the display port cable, versus HDMI or DVI. I changed out to display port and bang, 144 HZ refresh rate. My frame rates stay in the 100's now. Using an MSI 1070 Nvidia video card.

Upgraded my video cable from an HDMI to this DisplayPort. I'd never used a DP connection before but I'd seen recommendations to use it over HDMI for gaming. While resolution seems the same, I can say that I've never had stutter on my display since switching to this method, where HDMI normally would freeze for a second or two from time to time.

While DisplayPorts are WAY better then HDMI, in this case this brand seems to have a 50/50 chance at it being defective. Mine was and caused my screen to blink at random. They replaced it at the store and the second one works great. I'd maybe find a better brand or just buy this and test it right away so if you need to you can exchange it.
