Q: QuestionCan this run design software ?(3 answers)
A: AnswerThis laptop will be fine for 2d design software. I think 3d design software will be a challenge for it. It's fine for light photoshop, illustrator, inDesign type work. It will be fine for Figma or Canva or other software like that. I would not use this machine for editing videos that are longer than maybe 10 minutes long, and it probably won't be good for 3d rendering software, or creating VR or AR content.Answered by BillM
- A: AnswerI have not had that issue. It disables the keyboard when you flip it. It has a popup keyboard on the touchscreen side you can use with your pen or finger.

Q: QuestionIs this capable to connect to my AT&T wireless plan?(1 answer)
A: AnswerGreetings from the Intel team. Thank you for your question. Based on the product specifications reference (PSREF), the Lenovo - Yoga 9i model 83B1001WUS doesn't have Wireless wide area network (WWAN) support to connect to a WWAN service provider. For further information, check the PSREF: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Yoga_9_14IRP8?M=83B1001WUS For detailed information about the Intel® Core™ i7-1360P processor, visit: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/232155/intel-core-i7-1360p-processor-18m-cache-up-to-5-00-ghz.html Thank you for choosing Intel! Q: QuestionWhat's in the box?(4 answers)
A: AnswerThe 2-in-1 laptop, the charging/electrical cord, the pen, and a very nice cover with a magnetic closure. The picture of the cover shows the pen in the built in holder. REALLY nice product and I looked at a ton of these.Answered by raccoonmama
Q: QuestionI noticed the keyboard is off center. Does the right palm hit the trackpad often?(3 answers)
A: AnswerI usually hate off center keyboards and I was worried about that with this one, but it's actually great. They keyboard has a very soft touch, and I like that feel. I usually use my MacBook Pro from 2021 and I have to say, I actually like the keyboard/typing experience on this laptop better.Answered by BillM
Q: QuestionIs it suitable for software development and high level programming?(1 answer)
A: AnswerHey, Mv. It should be based off past user reviews, but it can vary depending on surrounding details, like what specific software you may use and its system requirements, the level of multi-tasking you may be doing, and more. If you have specific scenarios, use cases, software you plan to use, and other details, feel free to share them and we can help make a more calculated recommendation. Q: QuestionDoes this model have low blue light certified display ?(1 answer)
A: AnswerIt has a few options for low light and blue filtering where you can adjust the intensity.Answered by Rgj12i4
- A: AnswerHi, Mv. It could depend on the scope or scale of development and system requirements for software used, but given the processing speed and higher memory capabilities, this Yoga 9i should be able to keep up with the workload. To help confirm this, we recommend finding the system requirements listed by any software developer that creates the programs you plan to use, then comparing them to the specifications and features of this Yoga 9i, or any device you're interested in, for verification that it will meet your needs.

Beautiful hardware with subpar battery life
Picked up this Lenovo Yoga to get reacquainted with Windows since using Mac OS for a long time. Pleased to see that Windows has become much more intuitive like Mac OS. The hardware in this PC is amazingly beautiful —nothing to envy from Apple. In fact, I prefer this Lenovo Yoga to my MacBook Pro. The speakers in this machine are loud for their size. The screen is super crisp (much better than that of my Mac, believe it or not). The touch screen and the ability to turn it into a tablet are cherry on the cake. The stylus is very responsive (alas, a bit unattractive). The Achilles heel on this machine is the battery life which may last a couple hours, at best. You will need a charger with you at all times just-in-case. Also, the screen has quite a bit of glare if you are outdoors —not a big deal for me as I use this machine indoors. This is a machine you want to be very careful with as there are no cases that work 100% with it. The included pouch is nice but offers no protection once you take out the machine from said pouch. Granted, there are a couple cases out there that work with this machine but you lose the tablet capability with those. All in all, this is a great machine but I would love to see Lenovo improving the battery life in future editions.

Amazing overall, great for school
My favorite laptop so far. It is very light weight and easy to carry around with me everywhere. The touchscreen and 360 flip is beneficial for school. The pen that comes with it could be better, when I touch and drag it across the screen it buffers and feels uncomfortable in the hand like nails on a chalkboard almost. Nevertheless, the fact that it comes with a pen and a case is better than other laptops/tablets I’ve come across. One other complaint I have is the touchpad is so large that I tend to rub my palm against it causing it to affect whatever is on the screen and it gets annoying. I got the champagne color and it is gorgeous, it’s more of a rosey pink color in person. It is unfortunate though that there’s almost no cases or screen protectors to find for it. With battery saving mode the battery life is about 6 hours which isnt that bad and the speed of the laptop is quite fast even when I have lots of tabs open.

A Wonderful Piece of Technology
Listen, I am a student who hasn't owned a laptop in like 10 years. This laptop had me in awe. I have been using this laptop for a few months now, and it's changed my life! I needed a laptop that was easily portable and comfortable to use, and this one does not disappoint!!! Lenovo as a brand has been well praised by my friends and family, so I was certainly excited to try them out. Lenovo did not disappoint me! I debated between this model or saving the money on an older one. I grew up often being told to always get the most affordable option, but I took a chance on spending more on something pricer- to see if it was worth its price tag. To me, it is!!! To be fair, my previous laptops were budget HP laptops from the 2010s haha. So this was an insane jump in quality! Pros: - The screen display is STUNNING. My household does not own a screen that has OLED technology. I spent the first week of using this laptop in awe over how crisp and colorful everything was!!! - Sleek & aesthetic design - Light up keyboard makes it possible to work in any kind of lighting - Fast, runs well, have had virtually no hiccups - Fingerprint feature is so convenient for when face ID isn't working well - Decent battery life, though of course naturally over time it weakens. - Camera has a slide-able cover - UI is nice looking and pretty user friendly - Handles The Sims 4 pretty well- which is always impressive haha. My old laptops would be fighting for their lives!!! - I do digital art, and I originally was used to using an iPad. This works JUST as well in my opinion and wasn't hard to switch over to at all!!! Which is awesome, since I had missed using CSP! Part of my reason of choosing this laptop was the pen and screen. It's also great if you're a causal digital artist like me!!! Cons: - Does not have a USB port. (Only USB-C) Not a bad con though, just means you might need an adapter dongle, which can be less than $10. - Storage given isn't very much for its price in my opinion. You can maybe play one or two games and do your work with the amount given. - The McAfee thing that comes with it can be quite annoying. Lots of popups and keeps overriding my default browser to yahoo instead of chrome? Overall, DEFINITELY more pros than cons, and for who I am these cons do not stop me from greatly enjoying this wonderful piece of technology. It has made my life certainly easier, and I hardly ever find myself 'fighting' with it. (My old HP laptops certainly put up a struggle!) It's a hefty price, but it has felt worth it after using it daily for months. I'm sure if I had bought any other laptop, I wouldn't have been nearly as happy!
