Q: load size
A: The rule of thumb is that you should only fill a washing machine to 3/4 capacity so that it has room to agitate the load so you get an optimal wash otherwise it will not wash properly. The LG - 2.3 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle High-Efficiency Compact Front-Loading Washer, Model # WM1377HW might be able to hold about 6 towels but how many will depend on the bulk of the towels. Jeans, like towels, are also heavy, especially when they get wet and so again, maybe 6 pairs of jeans may be okay, bottom line is you can try starting with that and then use your discretion to adjust accordingly. 2.3 cubic feet will hold about 12 lbs of laundry, try weighing the towels and jeans on a weight scale to get an idea and just keep in mind that they will weigh a lot more when wet. You don't want to overload the machine to the extent that it's too much of a burden on the motor where it could burn itself out...^IFV
A: Sounds as though you want to know how far apart the feet are, so you can be sure they'll all fit on the steel plate. I just measured the distances for you on our new washer, LG model WM1377HW. The washer should fit. From the back of the back feet to the front of the front feet, the distance is 23 inches. It's also 23 inches from the outside of one front foot to the outside of the other front foot.
Q: Can a Bosch dryer be stacked unto the LG washer?
A: The only dryer that can be stacked on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 2.3 cu. ft. Large Capacity 24” Compact Large Capacity Front Load Washer, Model # WM1377HW is the LG 24" Compact Ventless Electric Front Load Dryer, Model # DLEC855W which comes with the appropriate stacking kit for stacking it onto the washer. Q: compact washing machines not portable 25 inch depth
A: The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 2.3 cu. ft. Large Capacity 24” Compact Large Capacity Front Load Washer, Model # WM1377HW and the Compact Washer/Dryer combos, Models # WM3455HW and WM3477HW/HS are the only units that we currently have in our lineup that have a depth of 25 1/4". For information on the "best rated for repair" you would need to check Consumer Affairs who may have that type of information on their site or you can check product reviews at various retail sites for feedback on that...^IFV
Q: does it come with a hose or do i need to buy it separately?
A: The hoses are purchased separate.
Q: can you add fabric softener after rinse cycle starts and can you add any amount you want
A: The LG - 2.3 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle High-Efficiency Compact Front-Loading Washer, Model # WM1377HW has a Fabric Softener Compartment that holds liquid fabric softener which will be automatically dispensed during the final rinse cycle. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations when adding fabric softener and do not exceed the maximum fill line. Using too much fabric softener may result in stained clothes. You will need to dilute concentrated fabric softeners with warm water and again, do not exceed the maximum fill line. Never pour fabric softener directly onto the load or into the drum...^IFV
