A: Cycles are selected with the door open. You push start and it counts down 5 seconds for you to close the door and start the cycle. It is easy to read.
A: Unfortunately, not. Although it states it does, there is no power cord included. You will have to purchase separately. I went back to my local store and brought this to their attention as we were in the middle of the install, when this was inconveniently discovered. The store manager made it right and provided a credit to purchase one of their kits which includes the steel braided hose you will also need. Otherwise, it is a great dishwasher. Cleans very well, and as described. I would highly recommend!
