LG screens are AMAZING, as usual.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.OLED is still king. No comparison. If you're worrying about burn in, go to a BestBuy store and look at the OLED screens on display. Those demo screens are on 10 hrs a day. No burn in. Anyways.....This 65" LG C1 replaces our 55" OLED LG B9, Which has been moved to the master bedroom. This is the best TV I've ever owned. Hands down. The App interface is just ok, but I use an Apple TV for my streaming apps anyways. I have a Playstation and a Nintendo Switch. My 3 year old LG OLED 55" B9 has over 3000 hours of use, with no burn in. If you vary your viewing content, you'll be fine. The internal speakers are ok, but the TV is flat, so what did you expect? We use a soundbar anyways. Brightness is great for our needs.

BUY IT
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I never imagined spending over $2,000 for a tv; however, I wanted to get the most out of my Series X. Originally, I was going to upgrade from my 55 inch C8 to the 55 inch C1. I am not one for wasting money on material possessions. I spent over a month trying to decide whether spending the extra $800 for the 65 inch C1 would be worth it, opposed to my original plan. I could not be happier with my decision. My wife and I spend the majority of our spare time watching tv shows and we love it. Despite only being able to play my Series X for a couple of hours, I have noticed a difference between this and the C8. Excuse the dust in the pictures. I am remodeling my house and it is extremely difficult to keep everything clean at the moment.

Phenomenal TV, customer service was non existent.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.First off I must say this Tv is leaps and bounds better then my LG 4K IPS panel. The added brightness on the C1 does help greatly in lit rooms. My only big caveat is the lack of a gig Ethernet port instead of the abysmal 100 megabit port. It’s 2021 given the ever growing 4K stream libraries people need access to a better pipe LG. When I purchased the Tv at bestbuy I purchased it through the app while in store as was instructed due so but upon asking for them to pull the item, they told me to come back tomorrow as they couldn’t pull it. When I asked why he rebutted that they didn’t have enough staff yet I saw a team of 20+ people unpacking pallets for black Friday around the store. It felt like I was a burden to the reps for buying the tv. In the end great tv but seriously horrid customer service. This explains why in person shopping is in a decline.

OLED FOR LIFE
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This is the life! So the upscaling from a DVD or Blu-ray disk is absolutely incredible, dvd looks like a blu ray content, a blu ray looks almost like a 4 k disk and a 4K disk looks real life! I had the CX OLED n the C1 is so much better, brighter, better upscaling. Check my YouTube channel for a review on content and I also have a video demonstrating an XBOX SERIES X, I love it and will never buy an LCD tv ever again, OLED FOR LIFE

Phenomenal Picture Quality, Thin & Sleek
||Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed. The LG OLED 65" Class C1 Q80 Series TV is absolutely beautiful to behold. It is incredibly thin! The OLED screen allows the blackest blacks and whitest whites to shine through at the same time in scenes with both black and white, which makes for a dynamic picture. The colors are insane! We bought a 65" Samsung QLED and the LG OLED surpasses the quality of the Samsung QLED. When the background picture shows a piece of art with a gold frame, the quality is so good that it looks like a real piece of art One down side: "Magic Remote" that this TV comes with has a flawed design- it is big & clunky. They could've made it more sleek and smaller to fit better in your hand.

Unbelievable
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. There are some things in life you pay good money for... and if you value home entertainment this is one of them. The picture is absolutely remarkable. The clarity and picture quality is bar none. You will see details you wouldn't otherwise notice and it really makes content so much more fun to watch. Dolby Atmos on Netflix looks phenomenal I have an Xbox Series X and the Game Mode is such a great feature. Games look great and you can choose what type of video game you're playing to get the best picture quality. I have mine in a darker room with room darkening curtains. If I dont close the curtains it picks up and hint of light and ruins your picture. Sound quality is decent, but I chose to get a soundbar and subwoofer to really make the best of the experience of the C1. I also chose to buy the 5 year best buy warranty because I wouldn't have been able to enjoy this constantly worrying about burn in. If you are able to spend the money you will not be disappointed. It's by and far the best picture I've ever seen. They say once you go OLED you can't go back and the C1 has made me a believer.

||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. The best TV I have ever owned. If you can spend a little extra, pull the trigger on this one. Gaming is unparalleled, regular content looks fantastic, and movies look amazing. The only con in my case is the included stand makes it almost impossible to use a sound bar (on the same surface level). However, the stock speakers sound great. I have seen a few review about how this TV may not be a good idea for a bright room, but it looks great in my bright window filled living room. I have been using the Apple TV 4K and the PS5 mostly for content and it is just amazing. Enough of this love fest, I need to go watch AEW Dynamite. Love y’all.

great!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Wonderful. that's all you need to say. Never seen such a good picture. There is a more expensive one but this one is at the point of diminishing returns (paying more than this will bring less improvements than for instance the difference between this and the A1 in which case the differences are huge). Perfect TV if a 65" that looks great on movies and games with infinite contrast and fast response times is what you are going for.

Q: QuestionI have a 5 year old LG Oled TV that has significant burn in and am eager to replace it. I do watch CNN and CNBC a lot, so it's their logos that are the issue. While I know burn in is endemic to Oled, has LG made this less likely on its new models?
Asked by TuftsJumbo.
- A:Answer OLED TVs have special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, under OLED Screen Saver there is the Pixel Refresher that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionWhat size is the box this TV comes in? I want to know it will fit in my car for pickup.
Asked by Brian.
- A:Answer Ignore the prior answer The listed shipping dimensions for the box are 67.5 x 38 x 7.8" and 89lbs. It most certainly does not weight 908lbs! The TV, itself, weighs in at 53lbs.
Answered by ChrisP
Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between LG oled A1 and C1 series?
Asked by Ken.
- A:Answer The differences between models OLED65A1PUA and OLED65C1PUB are the C1 is a higher end model OLED. It offers a greater output power, speaker system, HDMI 2.1 on all 4 ports (4K@120Hz), and a higher rate rate 120Hz versus 60Hz. For a side by side comparison of both models, please see the link, https://www.lg.com/us/compare?bizType=B2C. ^Daphane
Answered by LGAnswers
Q: QuestionWhy is BB description of the C1 inaccurate. Like # of HDMI 2.1= 0 witch is a Lie. BB NEEDS TO DO BETTER
Asked by BillH.
- A:Answer I noticed the same thing when purchasing mine. I ended up looking on LGs website and the specifications say that all hdmi inputs are 2.1 compatible.
Answered by Gamerguy89
Q: QuestionDoes the LG C1 have the new ATSC 3.0 tuner?
Asked by Atarria.
- A:Answer No, this model does not have a NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0). ^Daphane
Answered by LGAnswers
Q: QuestionI’ve read this TV has Cinema mode…what is cinema mode vs Filmmaker mode? Without being able to “test drive” this TV in a store, I want to make sure it plays movies as they were meant to be viewed and does not have the soap opera effect.
Asked by George.
- A:Answer Cinema mode is similar to any other "movie" mode. The Filmmaker mode is the one you want it set to to watch how the director intended.
Answered by JBaum
Q: QuestionWhen will the 55in LG G1 be available
Asked by Vi.
- A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Initial shipments of the G1 55" have start shipping this week. Please continue to check the Best Buy website as I am unable to provide an exact date of when this TV will be available for purchase. ^Daphane

Q: Questionwhat is the difference between oled and qled tv
Asked by ed.
- A:Answer There are many differences, but the main ones are: OLED TVs use light from each individual pixel, while Q-LED uses a traditional backlight to illuminate the pixels OLED TVs have better image quality than Q-LED TVs (although Q-LED is still very good) OLED TVs aren't as bright as Q-LED TVs, making Q-LED better for bright rooms, but OLED much better for dark rooms or room where you can draw the shade OLED TVs are much thinner than Q-LED TVs, although weights remain similar OLED TVs are more expensive then Q-LED TVs
