A: I have been checking for the past almost 55min refreshing the page and it still says “Coming Soon” - did they open the pre-orders up earlier than the agreed upon time 45 min ago?? If so, and they already sold out, that is very frustrating for the people trying to follow the agreed upon release date and times...
A: Nothing bots will eat up every website the Xbox released on.....
A: I agree, Elite members should have first priority with their membership.
Q: What are you guys going to do to prevent scalpers and bots from buying all your units?
A: They’re not doing anything they don’t care who or what buys them as long as they make money
A: I did, had it in my cart was paying kept getting system issues then was pulled from my cart and was unable to pre order.
A: According to Best Buy policy, when you place your pre-order they'’ll authorize your form of payment with your bank, which results in a temporary authorization hold. After a few business days, the hold should be automatically released and the funds returned to your account. Shortly before release day as your order begins final processing for shipment or store pickup, we’ll reauthorize your form of payment, resulting in another hold. Once your order ships or becomes ready for store pickup we’ll then collect payment. Please note that pre-orders placed using PayPal are processed differently, and are charged immediately upon placing your pre-order.
A: Not sure about the tracking, but the card will be pre authorized but not charged until the day the console ships.
Q: Are xbox one controllers compatible
A: Yes

Noticed all the new Xbox games are mostly only for the Xbox Series X system. Now I can finally play all the games I've been checking out that aren't for the Xbox One system. The Series X system is much faster than Xbox One & even my downloads are much faster on this console. Love it. The only Con to the switch over from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, is that all the X/S Games can only be played when they are installed on the Internal Hard Drive or on a Memory Card. My External Hard Drive from my Xbox One with all my games on it is only good to store the games on for Xbox One Games & to store a X/S Game but CAN NOT be played from the External Hard Drive. Internal Hard Drive is only 1TB which is small with the newer X/S Games. And Memory Cards are almost $500 for a 4TB Memory Card (that's the biggest they currently make that I've found). That's my only complaint about the Xbox Series X.

Hello to whoever’s lucky enough to get this email—because it’s mostly good news about some great employees… and, well, a little feedback on a couple who could use a reminder about customer service. I’ve been shopping at your Tacoma, Washington location for a while now, and for the most part, everyone there has been fantastic. Sam deserves a serious shout-out. When I first came in, I knew nothing about laptops. I’m what you’d call a “high-maintenance customer” — not a jerk, just a guy who asks a lot of questions. Sam has been incredibly patient every single time. I only buy from him now. He’s helped me with my laptop, mouse, keyboard, monitor, phone, phone case, printer, and even an Xbox. He even helped me apply for a credit card — I didn’t get approved the first time, but this time he got me set up with a $2,000 limit. Not bad for a guy who used to look like a dirtbag on paper! Nick is another one who went above and beyond. One time I had my whole setup — laptop, mouse, and a big-screen monitor — spread out on the counter. The first guy there didn’t seem too interested in helping (I’ve heard he’s great with computers but has the personality of a wombat). Nick stepped in and was fantastic. He spent over an hour helping me out and got everything dialed in perfectly. Riley — she reminds me of my niece, which is a compliment. When I came back to pick up my laptop after the update service, she was super helpful. She and Nick made sure all the extra setup I wanted got handled. I’m not “Johnny Computer,” so I appreciated the patience. Now for the part I wish I didn’t have to write: the last time I was in (this past Tuesday), I purchased my Xbox and printer using my new Best Buy credit card. I accidentally left my mouse behind and came back the next day to pick it up. The Geek Squad area was slammed, so I approached the other side of the counter after standing infront of the girl at the counter for a maybe a minute . Noticeing she was not active doing much but standing there.. could not see her name tag it was covered with thick black hair and a blond male there. I asked if she could grab my mouse from the other counter, and before I could even tell her they’d labeled it with my name, she just pointed and said, “You have to go there!” just 4 feet away to help she was doing nothing . no customers on the shipping side of the counter.— then walked away. There wasn’t anyone available at that counter, so I had to wait about a half hour just for someone to grab it from the back. I’ve been in retail for over 30 years, and I’ve seen good, bad, and ugly — but that was easily one of the rudest, laziest interactions I’ve seen in a long time. To make it worse, she walked over to the kid and started saying things about me as the young male looked , right at me. Not a great look for a customer-service job. All that said, your Tacoma store has some excellent employees who truly make the experience enjoyable — Sam, Nick, and Riley deserve real recognition. They represent the kind of patience, professionalism, and people skills that keep customers coming back. Best regards, Billy

Don’t get me wrong this is an amazing Microsoft console. It runs new gen optimized games at 4k or 120fps *with compatible tv* even in the big 2026. I have loved xbox since the original and it’s awesome to see how far it’s come. If you’re looking to buy this in 2026 consider your options as this is an amazing console. It can run games in 4k OR 120fps, maybe both depending on optimization. Only downside is soon it’s 6 years old. My guess is in 2028 the series x will be considered “last gen” and a new more powerful xbox will take its place. So this is still a great option in 2026 especially for young kids/ pre-teens who just want to play some video games, but it is 6 years old in November, so maybe look in the used market as paying full price for a 6 year old console that will slowly not be able to run modern games is not worth it.
