A: Hello JGramc, Thanks for your interest in the Phyn Smart Water Sensor. The sensors do work on their own as standalone sensors. The Phyn Plus and/or Smart Water Assistant are not required. If the Sensor comes in contact with water, or notices increased humidity or low temperatures, it will send an alert to your phone and your Phyn app. Thank you, Phyn Customer Support
Q: Is it possible to disable the audible alarm?
A: Hello Anonymous - At the moment you cannot disable the audible alarm. It is intended for situations where you are in the home and have a leak detected, but are not on your phone. Useful for if you have a leak in the middle of the night. We may look into adding a feature in the future whereby you can disable the alarm if our customers are interested in this as a feature. A: No unfortunately. I wish there was at least a way to add it to HomeBridge, but I couldn't find a way.
