These small water sensors connect quickly and seamlessly to your Simplisafe base station. It literally takes mere seconds to connect and you can customize the name on each one to help with identifying the cause of any possible leak. I have a large home and have multiple sensors on every level and in every area of the home. Even the sensors located far from both the WiFi router and base station stay connected. I also appreciate the small size so they are quite inconspicuous. They are only about 2 and 1/2 “ in diameter.

I tried out the water sensor by pouring water on the floor and having it flow into its path. The sensor was triggered instantly and we also received a call from Simplisafe with 30 secs of the sensor going off. I was pleasantly surprised and glad to have these under the dish washer and washing machine.

Super easy to install - just place it where needed to alarm for water leaks. I placed it in the laundry room next to the washer.

I am throughly aggravated at Best Buy. I purchased these on March 4 and have been out of town for a few weeks. When I get back to install them, it's obvious that they have been an open box and they are not sealed. The plastic tab to remove to activate the batteries are not there so clearly a return - yet Best Buy sold two of these as new even though they were open box returns and NOT sealed. I DO expect to see my review made public or I will file a complaint with CFPB.
