- Answer You can download Word Online, Excel Online, Office Online, and other document programs of that nature from the Chrome Store. That's what I did. These online versions are truncated versions of Word, Excel, etc., as you may be accustomed to seeing them, but many of the features of the full-blown programs are never used anyway. I suspect the online versions will suffice for your daughter.

- Answer I almost never use a printer anymore, because the Chromebook responds to CTRL P by asking if you want to print out the document or screen to a pdf file, which you can then view on demand or send as an attachment. But almost all attachments (e.g. mouse, Chromecast) are easily recognized and handled.

- Answer that depends entirely on what your course load is. many courses require specific capabilities (MS Office applications are common) for example in business courses (another reason to stay away from Mac's in college). Google Docs works for much of this functionality but in some cases, due to grading software used, it won't work. I'd spend the extra on a Windows machine

QuestionI'm still confused about the internet/WiFi? Don't most computers use WiFi to access the internet? Is there WiFi on this computer? As in, I turn my WiFi button on and off and it will pick up the wifi signal in my home and I will be able to connect yes?
