- Answer Yes it works fine with S8, you just need to either pair it with bluetooth or/and use the alexa app for whatever else you intend to use it for.

QuestionCan I connect all my echo products so that if I am playing music in my kitchen my other each speaker will play same? I have 2 with screens as well so will it play same show at same time? The generations of products does that matter for compatibility?

- Answer I think so, but you'd have to check. You probably need to setup nested groups. Sonos Play 1 speakers do a much better job for sound quality.

- Answer No you just tell Alexa what you ant to hear and it plays. Some songs you have to be signed up for the Amazon upgrade but Alexa will tell you.

- Answer I think so. The phine is really just for set up and settings. It doesn't need to be on or nearby for the dot to work once it's set up.

- Answer Hi DJJB, to get local weather, you only need to open your Amazon Alexa app, then change the physical location of the Dot to Canadian address even though the Dot is registered under a US account.
