A:AnswerI have the antenna installed in my attic and have a 3-way signal splitter with RG11/U coax running from there to 3 TVs. I'm 35 miles away from the transmission tower and all 3 TV work great. Your results may vary depending on how far away you are from the transmission towers (see: https://www.antennaweb.org/) and how long the cable runs are from the antenna/signal splitter to the various TVs in your home.
A:AnswerThe signals this antenna pick up are like regular radio signals which pass through regular materials easily. You can aim the face of the antenna in the correct direction and it should pick them up. Unless your bldg is shielded to block those types of signals it should work. Easy way to test it...how's your radio reception in you apt.?
A:AnswerIf NBC is broadcast within range this antenna will pick it up. Mine picks up NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and a lot of other channels as clear as they were when I had cable.
A:AnswerYes, you'll need to run a coax cable to your TV. This is not a wireless system. If you want true wireless be prepared to spend a lot more money buying the equipment.

A:AnswerThe wire grate is on the older style that I purchased back in 2012 and it works great at 70+ miles with boost xt amp. I have the newer Clearstream 4 that I purchased 2022 no grate on the rear and it works excellent at 40+ miles with signal amp and gets even more channels ( which I think is because of the closer proximity). They work about the same in my estimation?
A:AnswerI live in Lake Wales Florida and receive channels from St Pete and Daytona. All Tampa channels and all Orlando channels. Best antenna I've ever had here in Florida.
A:AnswerCan't say but in Durham NC, group of stations about 35 miles away southward A1 reception, other stations scattered around, even weak ones picked up fine without any repositioning of antenna. I'd say if maybe 50 miles, maybe more, to station surely worth a try.
A:AnswerI bought a 10 foot long metal pipe one inch diameter electrical section at Lowe’s about 12 bucks and cut the length I wanted. The new pole fit right over the j pole.

A:AnswerHere’s the link where you enter your zipcode to see the free channels you can get AND the angle that the antenna should be pointed:
https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html
This link has a video with instructions and that is where I learned that you can use a compass (or compass app on your phone) to point the antenna in the right direction/angle: (it has the written instructions that come with the antenna, too, but they don’t mention using the compass. Using a compass is a HUGE timesaver to get the antenna working at its best:
