Can I stream Netflix and Paramount on this Mac Mini? The reason I ask is because I have purchased previous versions of the Mac mini and it has not aloud me to stream them. Thank you. null

I stopped by the Best Buy store in Garland (Tx) on Wednesday afternoon (Nov 27, 2024) and was looking at the new Apple M4 mini they had on-display.

I had 'The Maltese Falcon' (classic black-and-white movie) playing on the M4 mini (streaming off Tubi TV using the Safari Web Browser) and it looked great on the Apple monitor.

I suspect that the problem you're having involves High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection ('HDCP').

The new M4 mini, running macOS 15.1 ('Sequoia'), will be capable of streaming HDCP protected video but it will need to be connected to a monitor that is HDCP compliant.
