• I have multiple Q cameras. They do not need nor work with a base station. Easy to set up and use. If protected from elements, mine work just fine outside too if the wi-fi 2.4 connection is good. The live video is excellent, but the recorded cloud video is bad, since Arlo compresses the video more than other services, like Ring that you have to pay for. Arlo doesn't have a quality cloud option that you can pay for.
