Do you need a base for the wireless cameras null

You need base station for Arlo (wire-free), but you don't need base station for Arlo Q (this product).

There is no base controller. This is a stand alone product.

No base station needed for Arlo Q and Arlo Q Plus but necessary for regular Arlo cameras

It has a stand which can rest on a surface, or a little add-on piece of plastic comes with it that you can use to mount it to a wall.

The only thing u technically need is a wifi router. But requires the use of a computer to setup.

Comes with an attachment plate.

No base station is needed as with the Arlo battery operated outdoor cameras. The Arlo Q comes with a base that can be mount anywhere.

Arlo had everything you need to hook it up.
