• No, you can use the google Wi-Fi to get the internet (WAN) connection for this device but SBG8300 won't be part of the mesh network created by google wifi

• It works perfectly with Google WiFi. I had no problem with installation and it connected to google without issue. I don't know about VoIP, but would imagine for the cost of this thing it would work,
