“I just bought this modem I’m haveing fire optics put in by spectrum will this modem work with fiber optics from spectrum I’m running a Orbi router I hope this one works I just purchased it if not I will have to take it back Could you let me know thank you”

• Hi Chris, Please note that SB6190 is a cable modem and will only work with cable internet subscription , it won't work with fiber optic internet service

• The modem given by spectrum is not gonna be better than the one you’re buying. You have to rent that from spectrum and it’s cheap quality. The aris modem is so much better
