Easy to setup and works very well. I will say that it will give you white lights not only green lights sometimes. But, it works and it has been helping me to have a fantastic connection! Added bonus, it looks nice and it's small enough to fit right where I need it

My goal was simple... to escape the cable company's Modem Rental Fee of $10 per month. So, I thought, I'll pick up a $25 modem and be the hero. But, after doing a little research, I learned that modems may have a bigger part to play in the health and performance of my home network than I had thought. I didn't even know that different models performed at different speeds and had different capabilities. So I asked my BB associate, which was the fastest he had in stock, and on that particular day, it was the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. I found that it cost much less than a year's rental for the cable company's modem, and it was substantially faster than it as well, which I hoped would help with all the streaming we seem to do these days.
The Result... it helped enough with the media streaming that it allowed me to reduce my Internet Plan from 155 Mbps to 50 Mbps (Saving me $10 per month), with no noticeable loss in streaming performance, and only a negligible difference with Internet Surfing which most people would not notice.
So, my ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem, is now saving me $10 a month in modem rental fees from the cable company, and is so fast, that it saved me another $10 on my Internet plan (50 Mbps vs 155 Mbps). This means that in less than 5 mos my Arris will pay for itself, then after that it will be saving me $20 a month, and I haven't given anything up to do it (except the cable company's modem). On top of that, the Arris saved me from spending $300+ to upgrade my 3 year-old router which I thought was the bottleneck in our home's streaming performance, but wasn't.
AND, as an added Bonus, when I switched to the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem, my all-in-one printer stopped loosing its network connection, which was a daily occurrence with the cable company's modem, and an incredible nuisance which wouldn't allow me to print or scan anymore.
So, if you want to put money in your pocket, and stream, scan and print more reliably, replace your cable company rental with an ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem.

This device was very easy to set up. It works with my service provider (Comcast-Xfinity.) The list of providers that this unit works with were listed clearly for me to review. Thank you for making it easy.
My speeds are very good. It is faster than the cable modem I usually rent from my service provider and a lot cheaper (in the long run.) This one will pay for itself in one year based on the monthly charges I would have paid if I rented one. I wanted black, but I have to be honest that the white casing is growing on me. It looks very "clean" sitting on my black entertainment center. The blue LEDs are a nice touch.
MY speeds are 80+mbps and 12+mbps upload in the room with my Linksys e4200 router. I am supposed to get 75mbps.
It has been a great investment. I have been pleased with it so far.

Very good modem! We have Xfinity (600 down/ 15 up) and this modem works like a champ. We have 5 people simultaneously using a mix of Stadia and PC gaming almost daily. There is no Lag, or latency as others have mentioned with this modem. This thing is a great price. Xfinity says it is not compatible with their gigabit service however.

I have Cox Cable for home internet service. For years all I heard was, “Reboot your modem” to fix their crappy service. Since I initially setup this modem, I haven’t had to reboot it once. I’m using it with the Eero pro WiFi mesh system and it is awesome. It works better than any broadband WiFi system I’ve ever had; fast speeds and great throughput, never any lag even on video streaming. It’s a great value as well.

I am so glad I got this modem! Setup was relatively easy with Charter/Spectrum. Disconnected old modem. Called and told them I bought a new modem. Gave them the serial number of new modem. They put it in the system. Plugged up new modem. Waited for them to initialize new modem in their system. A few minutes later everything was working with faster speeds through Charter/Spectrum. I pay for 200Mbps. My speeds are usually 228Mbps or higher :D

The only challenge I had was with initial setup with Cox. Had to contact their tech support so they could allow the device on their network. After step, it was plug and play, and my internet problems have all but disappeared. When it’s time for a DOCSSIS 3.1 device, I’ll go back to Arris

Bought the the ARRIS - SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem along with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX4 4-Stream AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Router upon recommendations from some of best buy staff as I was looking for something to replace the provided modem/router combo from Spectrum. Was initially put off by the price... Together they're not cheap. I was going to go with a all-in-one model, but after doing my research, decided that individual pieces would be better.
I have to say... The speeds are amazing. Downloading updates on your phone? Don't blink or you'll miss them. Now the longest part is the install.
Gaming? I tested it out side by side with my brother. He's got a AT&T uverse modem and router. Where he was looking at 45 minutes to upwards of 2 hours for game downloads, I was able to download and install in under 20.
I can't comment on the range of the two, as I live in a crappy little apartment, but I automatically log in when pulling into the parking lot.
Yes, they are expensive. But as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for.
Do you need a setup that downloads your movies before you even decide what you're going to watch? Maybe not, but it's nice.
Do you need a gaming connection that provides a flawless, constant connection that lets you die that much quicker? Maybe.
With 5 devices all connected to the setup, I was running over 200 mbps download, which is/was just numbers to me, but I know that when I was running the Spectrum setup, I wasn't getting above 50 mbps.
My verdict... Get this! It works with spectrum, and is one of their approved devices. This has quickly become worth the money.

I choose this modem when I switched to 300Meg Cable Internet (Comcast) because it is certified by Comcast for the 300Meg service. It has worked very well. It was easy to get activated with Comcast and it is very fast. I'm getting 356 Meg download on Speedtest. I'm very pleased with the performance. I would strongly recommend this cable modem.

I was paying $10 per month for a combo modem/wifi router from Mediacom that was always going offline and having to be reset. I decided to purchase my own and this modem was on the list of approved modems by Mediacom. It as easy to set up and a quick call to Mediacom to give them the MAC address and I was up and running. It has performed flawlessly. I highly recommend

I recently puchased a new complete home wi-fi system, but needed just one last final piece..that being the Arris Surfboard 3.0 cable modem, itself the best i have owned fast , efficient, great for streaming all wi-fi devices in my home..which is very important for streaming to my new 4k HDR SONY tv, and Alexa devices , laptops , tablets.
