Can this modem lie flat? null

i do not do that -- as irecall the insructions are to have it stand upright -- i'm not a tech person but it probably allows better air circulation.

Yes. I have mine flat and works great..

Hi Bob, we don't recommend lying down this modem flat since the rubber pads are located so as to support the vertical placement of the modem
