“Love the modem but the lights are too bright. I have to use a box.over it to sleep. This model does not allow to turn off the lights in configuration mode. Will there be a patch to give us the option to turn off the light?”

ProfessorX... read my mind. I’m not a developer. Nobody on here likely is. Go to the mfg website and ask them. Excelsior!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There will likely never be a "patch" to add light control. These devices are usually hidden in a cabinet or behind furniture. Since the ventilation however is important, you shouldn't put a box over it. In fact, you comment is probably grounds for warranty invalidation. Instead, just use some black electrical tape over the lighted panel.
