I use Apple Airport Extreme, but I believe that this item has been discontinued. I am very happy with it. I have had it for over five years with no issues.

Please try again later.Any router will work as long as it satisfies the speed requirements of your internet carrier (i.e. only consider one with wired ports that support 1GB per second rates so that you get full use of your bandwidth). I use a TP-Link AC1900 Dual Band router which supports 2.4 and 5GHz WIFI bands.

Remember though, not all wireless devices will be capable of getting the full speeds that can begotten from a wired connection.
