A:AnswerContrary to what was written by someone earlier, the ProArt P16 is not a convertible laptop, ASUS's website is clear that the convertible is the PX13. The three new ProArt models are ProArt P16 (H7606), ProArt PX13 (HN7306), and ProArt PZ13 (HT5306).
The H7606 is a traditional touchscreen (not convertible), the HN7306 is convertible, and the HT5306 is the detachable keyboard. Also, while the first two are AMD chips with powerful NPUs (up to 50 TOPS), the 3rd one is a driven by the lates Qualcomm Snapdragon AI chipset and is an official Copilot + PC (up to 45 TOPS).
A:AnswerI dont know the answer, but I do know that the previous answer provided by Asus is wrong. Not one of the files mentioned are considered raw files. So the question remains unanswered. Perhaps it uses LibRaw, which can extract many raw images. It would be extremely useful if it did. If anyone knows, please post here.
A:AnswerYes, the RAM is soldered on the motherboard. The 32GB RAM onboard is adequate enough to work and play games on this laptop without compromising system performance or speed.
A:AnswerI suspect RAM is soldered on despite contradicting info elsewhere in these questions from Asus. As far as I know LPDDR5X is almost always soldered on.
A:AnswerThe answer from Asus Support about 65GB ram upgrade is worng. This Laptop uses soldered LPDDR5X memory and does not support any ram upgrade. So, you'll only have 32Gb of memory. There will be a 64GB ersion but I don't think that will be available in North America.
A:AnswerThis laptop model comes with a 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4X4 module preinstalled in one of the slots, it has 2 expansion slots. A 2TB SSD can be installed on the secondary slot for a total size of 4TB.
A:AnswerOK, now we’re finally making some progress about the memory. That would be great if it’s DDR-5 SODIMM, cuz that would mean that memory truly is upgradeable, which is apparently not true of any other Asus models. And what is the maximum memory that it is upgradeable to? Also, pardon me, and please don’t take offense by my further questioning, but are you sure that it’s SODIMM? The reason for that question is that the detailed Best Buy Specs page explicitly states that it has LPDDR5X memory at a speed of 7500 MHz. So if the LPDDR5X part of the BB Spec is wrong, then is the 7500 speed wrong too, because I didn’t know they had 7500 MHz SODIMM RAM yet (but they do have 7500 LPDDR5X and also 7500 CAMM2). Please confirm/clarify. It would be bad for Best Buy if they sell 1000 of these in pre-order and all of them are returned because we were given misinformation about the memory.
A:AnswerThis laptop was designed for creative professionals, not for gamers. The 60Hz refresh rate on the built-in display is more than enough for what it was intended for. If you want to utilize 120Hz an external monitor can be connected to the HDMI or USB-C ports.
A:AnswerNo the RAM is soldered on and not upgradeable. The SSD can be upgraded. Asus can't even answer questions correctly about their own product which tells how lousy of company Asus is.
