Contrary to what was written by someone earlier, the ProArt P16 is not a convertible laptop, ASUS's website is clear that the convertible is the PX13. The three new ProArt models are ProArt P16 (H7606), ProArt PX13 (HN7306), and ProArt PZ13 (HT5306). The H7606 is a traditional touchscreen (not convertible), the HN7306 is convertible, and the HT5306 is the detachable keyboard. Also, while the first two are AMD chips with powerful NPUs (up to 50 TOPS), the 3rd one is a driven by the lates Qualcomm Snapdragon AI chipset and is an official Copilot + PC (up to 45 TOPS).

Indeed the P16 is just a regular touch screen but not a convertible one - I was the poster that made that mistake, sorry (I misinterpreted an early video review). For the original questioner who wanted the iPad-like detachable keyboard, confirming that is the PZ13 model and as of June, Best Buy does not carry it (yet). Also, Nick is correct in noting that “at launch” the Qualcomm Elite CPU models and perhaps some Intel models are the only ones that “officially” receive the Copilot+ branding. But “buyer beware” that this is only a timing issue. The AMD based Asus P16 and Asus G16 and other Asus laptops based on AMD Ryzen AI 9 370 or 365 CPUs are also fully qualified as Copilot+ since they have a 45-50 TOPS NPU and dedicated Copilot key and even if they ship from the factory without requisite Windows 11 features for Copilot+, the next Windows update will install those features. So if you want an Intel-based or Qualcomm-based Copilot+ laptop, by all means go for it, but if you want a more powerful (and higher TPU) AMD Copilot+ laptop, do not refrain from buying one just because you have to do a Windows update just to make its Copilot+ness official. Any AMD laptop (including this one) sporting a Gen 5 Strix Point Ryzen AI 9 370 (or 365) CPU is, in fact, qualified as Copilot+.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the keyboard on this laptop is not detachable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For detached keyboard you want the Asus ProArt PZ13 model, which comes with a detachable keyboard. Otherwise it appears to be similar to this model except 13”. In other words, the PZ13 looks like an iPad plus a iPad keyboard, except it contains a brand new super-fast X86-64 CPU by AMD and a 50 TOPS AI NPU engine and runs a full-blown Windows 11 OS (that is not hobbled by the lesser iPadOS) and is also a Windows Copilot+ PC. [Sorry Apple but this is just better in my book.] The Asus ProArt P16 model that we’re talking about here, by contrast, is a 2-in-1 model that can either lay flat, or can have the display completely flip over, or can be used in tent mode. By the way, Best Buy needs to fix it’s Specs because BB initially says no it’s not a 2-in-1. If I was Asus I would complain loudly to Best Buy that they did a shoddy job of documenting this product cuz they got a key feature wrong. You need to read the Internet article Storytelling Redefined, which is Asus’s own propaganda/advertising but very good - see https://www.asus.com/content/storytelling-redefined-new-2024-proart-laptops By the way, thanks to the person asking this question, which triggered me to learn all this.
