“Is the number pad always on for numbers? I have an older Asus and you have to hit the numlok to make the numbers work. Which for a separate number pad doesn't make sense to me.”

I just got a new of these asus laptops and The number pad can be kept active at all times, even if you turn off and then restart the computer.
