A:AnswerHi Snow. Specification such as speaker wattage are not published for our products. The reason this specification is not published is that we do not feel they give an accurate representation of how the product will sound in a real application. In saying that, the maximum power consumption for this product is 180 W.
A:AnswerHi there!
The Soundtouch 300, Bass Module 500, and Bose Surround Spaekers are all auto-sensing 100–240 V, at 50/60 Hz. These draw at most 65W, 180W and 30W of power respectively. As these are auto-sensing, this means that as long as the correct power cable is used, then there is no need for a converter.
We hope this helps clear this up for you!
A:AnswerI don't know what you mean by crossover but I have an Echo Dot in an adjacent room and the Bose Soundbar 500 in the living room. The microphones on the Bose are very sensitive so even if I'm in the other room and am speaking to the Echo Dot (with the wake up word "Alexa"), it is the Bose that will respond. It doesn't seem to cause any problem other than that.
A:AnswerHello, rol51.
Thank you for your interest in the new Bass Module 500! You can absolutely pair this bass module with your SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. The bass module will pair wirelessly to your system. We hope this helps! Have a great day.

A:AnswerThe Bose Bass Module 500 is an accessory speaker that only functions when paired with a compatible Bose soundbar or the Bose TV Speaker. It will not work directly with standalone Bose surround speakers. If you want a setup that includes both surround speakers and the Bass Module 500, you’ll need one of those soundbars as the central hub to tie everything together. You can purchase a compatible soundbar directly from the Bose website.

A:AnswerHello! The Bose Solo Soundbar Series II is designed as a compact, standalone soundbar and unfortunately does not support wireless pairing with the Bose Bass Module 500. Unlike Bose’s higher‑end soundbars such as the Soundbar 500, 700, or 900, which are built to connect seamlessly with bass modules through the Bose Music app, the Solo Series II lacks this integration. This means the Bass Module 500 cannot be connected to it, either wirelessly or through other methods. If deeper bass performance is important, the best option would be to consider upgrading to one of the compatible Bose soundbars, which allow you to expand your system with either the Bass Module 500 or Bass Module 700 for a richer, more immersive sound experience. A:AnswerHi there! Bose does not publish these specifications. The reason for this is that we believe such statistics do not add very much to an understanding of an audio product's acoustic characteristics and, even worse, can be misleading. Audio manufacturers make these measurements independent of industry standards, and in varying conditions.
Additionally, a single statistic is not a reliable measurement of a product's performance. One could, for instance, find a very expensive system with exactly the same specifications as a much less expensive system. On paper, the two would appear identical. The difference in performance, however, would be significant.
A better approach, we feel, is to listen to the product. We strongly urge you to make your own comparisons. Bose systems will surpass your expectations Sophie-Bose Customer Support
