Will this fit in a 1999 Chevy Silverado null

I have a 2013 Silverado, the connecting cable almost cost as much as the unit and I don't have or need all of the functions on my steering wheel. I haven't tried all the functions yet just the CD's, I'm having a lot of problems with this unit.
