“Can I charge the laptop battery through the USB-C port? I have a 65w charger with a USB-C plug and would like to use it as a second charger.”

Yes, i purchased this laptop and hooked it up to a thunderbolt dock that provides 85watts power over the thunder bolt 3 cable. It will charge over the USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 port.
