“I need a receiver for a 5.1 in one room as one zone, 2 patio speakers as another zone and 2 rock speakers for the pool area. Would this receiver be good for this set up? Any recommendations? Thanks”

  No, this unit will not accommodate your connections as it is only capable of 2 zones, the Main Zone and Zone 2. The AVR-X4500H will be able to accommodate your connections.
