• A:Answer The 3500 could only power 7 channels and the 3600 can power 9 channels. The 3600 can also process up to 11 channels if you have an external amplifier for the last 2 channels.

  If the unit is in a cabinet where it has poor air circulation then this is recommended. Otherwise no it is not necessary.

  The AVR-X3600H AV receiver supports 3D video pass-through (720p/1080p only) from connected 3D-compatible Blu-ray, games and broadcast devices to 3D-compatible HDTVs (all 3D components must be connected via HDMI). Special eyewear will be required for viewing 3D content.

• A:Answer I am using eARC and it works just fine. My older TV had ARC and that worked fine too. eARC will provide Dolby Digital + and standard ARC will provide up to standard DD.

• A:Answer JEMIii- The 3600 will work with anything you throw at it. I have had this device over 2 weeks and I am totally impressed. 105 watts per channel, precision sound clarity you can’t go wrong. I would recommend you use audyssey multeq xt32 to calibrate your room acoustics which is built in the 3600. Good luck

• A:Answer Not sure. I have a Sony XG950, and occasionally have to hard reset the tv since it forgets to pass thru the Dolby Surround Codec and for whatever reason tells the Denon to output Stereo. No clue on your Samsung model.

• A:Answer Virtually any moving magnet cartridge will work without a preamp. Your Technics most likely has a MM cartridge, especially if you are not using a preamp now.
