Q: I have a new Sony TV with 4k and 3D. Does this receiver offer full 3D support and 4k Capable?
A: All eight HDMI inputs — and three HDMI outputs — feature HDCP 2.2 support that lets you enjoy copy-protected content uninhibited. Watch movies and shows with 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub sampling, Dolby Vision, High Dynamic Range (HDR10), Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), eARC (enabled via firmware update) 21:9 video, 3D and BT.2020 passthrough support for exceptional color, clarity and contrast. I hope this answer helps you.
A: That would be a definite yes no problem this receiver is absolutely top of the line and the HEOS is amazing, if I had bought this for any other reason than watching 4K and surround it would also have been for the music
Q: Can I use my apple phone to sue my spotify, pandora, etc through the amplifier?
A: I says iOS in the manual, so yes. I am using my android and it works perfect with hoes and amazon alexa. It does ask for premium on spotify.
Q: Will this have the imax update?
A: Yes this is IMAX enhanced
A: Yes it supports Zone 2 and a zone 3. Set up and connection was very easy.
Q: Is it 165W RMS per channel or 125W. Everywhere other than BB says its 125W.
A: You can find this info straight from the horse's mouth, on www.Denon.com. There are three power ratings for this thing: 125w/ch, 165w/ch and 235w/ch. They are ALL true. It depends on the impedence of the speakers you are using, 8 ohms, 6 ohms or 4 ohms. Most home audio speakers are 8 ohms, so I would assume your unit will be outputting 125w/ch into 8 ohms.
A: The main difference between the two is a newer model year obviously and the 4500 is Imax enhanced via firmware update where as the 4400 is not .
