You can find this info straight from the horse's mouth, on www.Denon.com. There are three power ratings for this thing: 125w/ch, 165w/ch and 235w/ch. They are ALL true. It depends on the impedence of the speakers you are using, 8 ohms, 6 ohms or 4 ohms. Most home audio speakers are 8 ohms, so I would assume your unit will be outputting 125w/ch into 8 ohms.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Denon’s website has it listed at 125W. I’m running it after having an Integra receiver that was rated at 165W and it’s not as powerful running my B&W speakers but still sounds really good. I’m happy with it.
