QuestionDoes the fan/dehumidifier run all the time or does it turn off and stay off when humidity level is reached?

- Answer Hello, Humid! The dehumidifier will run until the desired humidity level has been reached. Once, the desired level has been reached the compressor will cycle off, but the fan will continue to run. The compressor will cycle on and off as needed to maintain the desired humidity level. QuestionSome people say it has a pump and that it pumps upwards into the sink. while other reviews say that it does not have a pump and just uses gravity to drain water downward into the sink (from a shelf etc). can anyone verify model with pump

QuestionShould I allow the fan to run all the time? There is the option to limit the time the fan runs. Normally the fan and condenser turn on and off at the same time.

QuestionHow do I connect the drain hose to the pump port on the rear of the unit? The green plug has been removed, but it has a smalller outer diameter than does the OD of the tubing supplied. Is there supposed to be a nipple that goes between port and tubing?

- Answer Hard to tell...our electric company increased their rates by 10% this year, and the wife is insistent on keeping the house 4 degrees cooler than last summer so I'm assuming this Frigidaire unit draws just as much power as my last Frigidaire unit did before it failed.

- Answer Yes it comes with 10' of hose. Just remember to push the ring in to remove the plug where the hose is inserted.

- Answer Hello, Kict! For proper draining, please place the appliance in a downward sloping motion for a continuous drain. The continuous drain will operate throughout the day as long as the appliance is collecting water. The bucket should only fill when the continuous drain feature is not being used. QuestionDoes this unit have an internal pump that ejects the water properly if using the hose function to empty? Will it collect in the reservoir when using the hose function like the present Frigidaire unit that I have now does (and shouldn't be)?

- Answer Curious question being that my Amana which died after 7 years always was dry. I just looked and there is water in the reservoir. I have always had it on the pump function, and I have seen water pump out of it. But it's has not indicated a full reservoir yet. My guess is the pump turns on after a certain amount of water fills up in the reservoir.

QuestionOnce you've attached the hose/used the pump, are you able to go back to emptying the bucket (not use the pump & hose? --can the plug go back in?) ?
