When I am pushing a cart in the supermarket, I put it in my pocket and it counts steps, stairs, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned 2 Garmin trackers. Neither counts steps when your wearing arm is still. Evidently, your arm has to swing for it to count your steps. Must just be how they function.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The vivosmart HR uses an internal accelerometer to track steps. It uses the natural arm motion while walking or running to count steps. If the arm is not moving the device is not likely to pick up on all steps.
