• Yes, I think it is close to accurate. I often compare it with Samsung health on my phone and it's close.

• I use my blood pressure monitor with HR, my Samsung 7 edge and my Garmin vivosmart HR to track my heart rate and I always have a 2-3 beat difference. So in my opinion it is fairly accurate.
