A:AnswerYour current model is 1.6 cubic ft and 1000 Watts. The mounting plate on your current model is WB56X10260 and it is no longer available to order so it wouldn't be on any of our newer models. We recommend using the hardware that comes with your new microwave. The mounting kits have changed over the years and are not interchangeable.
A:AnswerHello, thank you for asking this great question! We recommend using the new mounting hardware and bracket that is included with this new model. These microwaves will fit in the same space. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us! Best regards – Matthew@GEA
A:AnswerHello, we’re so sorry to say that this was a mistake. This microwave does not have sensor cooking. We’re here to help if you have any other questions! -Kacie@GEA

A:AnswerWe purchased the GE 1.7 cuft Space Saver over-the-counter microwave (JVM6172DKWW) for the same reason. This microwave has a somewhat different position of screws than our original one. There was also some inconsistency in the installation template. However, the microwave is in and works fine.
A:AnswerThis is a great question! To set the power level for this microwave: 1. Press Cook Time. 2. Enter cooking or defrosting time. 3. Press Power Level. 4. Select desired power level 1-10. 5. Press Start/Pause. Pressing Start/Pause is not necessary for Express Cook buttons. We hope this helps! If you have any other questions for us, please let us know! -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHello - So sorry to hear that your microwave's turntable isn't working properly and we're happy to help. Make sure the turntable is centered and seated properly. Check to make sure that there is no food or debris under the "wheels" of the turntable ring. Food can prevent the wheels from moving forward. If the above doesn't resolve the issue, we recommend scheduling service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or online on our website. Let us know if any other questions come up. Thanks! -Mikayla@GEA

A:AnswerHi! Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to help. We really think you'll like model PEB7227ANDD. While this model is dark gray, it does have several different finishes for its trim kits that you can choose from. This helps it to blend with the other appliances in your kitchen. The Stainless Steel trim kits can be found by searching for part numbers: JX7227SLSS and JX7230SLSS. The new model can only be built in, it's not recommend to install this unit on a countertop. - However, if you're wanting a countertop model, this one might be what you're looking for: PEM31SFSS. Hope this is helpful! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerHello - Thanks for your question; we are happy to help! The vent fan will automatically start when using any cooking cycle on the microwave. As soon as the Start/Pause pad is pressed to begin a cooking cycle, you will hear the vent fan automatically start. The automatic vent fan will operate during the entire cooking cycle. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA

A:AnswerHi there, Charlene - Great question! The bottom edge of the cabinet needs to be at least 30" from the range's cooking surface. Check out page 6 in the Installation Instructions for additional measurements: https://bit.ly/3950CPk. Thanks so much for checking! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerHello there! Thanks for your question. The D in the model number shows that the door color matches the model's color. The F in the model number represents the model year. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
A:AnswerHi Willie, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about this, we know that this must be frustrating for you. If the microwave starts as soon as the door is closed, the microwave isn't really starting; the fan is coming on in anticipation of the unit starting. Try shutting the door firmly three times to avoid the fan sound in future use. We hope that this helps! All the best. -Michael
A:AnswerHi Dan,
Great question! While we do not have the exact measurements of the mounting bracket, as long as the cutout height is 16-1/2" you will be able to install your unit. You can check out the cutout requirements on page 7 of the installation instructions. https://files.bbystatic.com/D8505xASz7TWU7wUCScjfA%3D%3D/b73a7340-f6e3-413e-8afb-f70f68d3ba1d.pdf Hope this helps.
