A:AnswerHello TWR - Thank you for your interest in this amazing washer. We do not measure the capacity in weight for our units. A washer is not limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. So in this case, 2.4 cu ft of clothes can be washed. Keep in touch! - JB
A:AnswerHi JO - Thanks for viewing GE Model GFW148SSMWW! This 2.4 cu.ft. washer can accommodate a queen size sheet set. It is best to wash king size sheets separately. A:AnswerHello - Thank you for your interest in the washer GFW148SSMWW; we are happy to help! This washer should be connected to a hot and cold water faucets installed within 42 inches (107 cm) of your washer’s water inlet. The faucets must be 3/4” (1.9 cm) garden hose-type so inlet hoses can be connected. Water pressure must be between 10 and 120 pounds per square inch. Your water
department can advise you of your water pressure. We are glad you checked! Olga

A:AnswerHi there,
We are finding that the model you have provided us with is a washer, not a dryer. But, in our research, we are finding that you should not be able to vent vertically. Venting instructions can vary between models so it is important to view the installation instructions for the model that you're looking to install. You should be able to vent, in general, from the left and right. Some models have the ability to vent from the rear however this would be something that would need to be checked in the unit's installation instructions. - You can view more information about dryer exhaust ducting through this link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21080 - We hope that this helped! Thank you so much for your question. -Michael

A:AnswerHi Suz441- The Normal cycle is approximately 51-60 minutes and Quick Wash is approximately 30-36 minutes (Wash time only). The actual run time could be several minutes more or less based on the need of the washer to redistribute and balance the wash load to reach maximum spin speed. These times do not include the time it takes to fill or drain the washer. Pair with GE® 24" 4.1 Cu.Ft. Front Load Ventless Condenser Electric Dryer with Stainless Steel Basket GFT14ESSMWW or GE® 24" 4.3 Cu.Ft. Front Load Vented Electric Dryer with Stainless Steel Basket GFD14ESSNWW. Thanks for considering GE! Sue
